Disappointing Drinks

In an attempt to make the most of what London has to offer, we set off to find the 'best hot chocolate' in London. Julian bought the extra-large mug.

Sucker.

Oh yes, I could have told you that you'd be barking up the wrong tree at apostrophe.... their coffee is also not award winning!

Have you tried the TimeOut guide?

I'm stealing "not award winning" for the next time I want to heap polite damnation on something!

Poor Jules, with his extra-large mug of mediocrity... :(

"Poor Julian" now where have I heard that before?

Thanks Helen, I think I'll save extra large mug of mediocrity too!

The best hot chocolate in London is actually in New York at Jacque Torres chocolate factory. It is downtown and is probably the best hot chocolate in the world. There are shades of Willy Wonka there.

Even though their coffee is not award winning, if you order the Hot Chocolate Milano (not the regular hot choc, you have to say milano at the end) at a Caffe Nero, you will find what I think is the best hot chocolate a chain store has to offer. With or without whipped cream, this mug never fails to satisfy my hot choc craving on the high street.

I know this isn't hot chocolate, but a trusty source of mine has located the best cup of coffee *in the world*!
