MORE RICHMOND PARK

On Sunday we hit Richmond park again, this time no one was sick, the weather was great, and there were deer everywhere. We met up with Nick and Michelle and Anne and Fred for an ice cream cone and a great walk across the park. I really do love the deer- so cute. You could get quite close to them, although they were a little scatty. I would recommend Richmond to any nature-lover.

It sounds wonderful. I think we will have to add this to our list of "Must Do" when we come to visit!

I'm sure mothermidge said that! Who's been logging in on my account I wonder? :)

Joe took me to Richmond Park when I was in London and it was the first time I'd ever seen deer, so I was quite enchanted.
We thought the Isabella Garden was lovely too and were thinking up all these romantic ideas about which Isabella it was named after -- and then we read on a plaque that "Isabella" in this case referred to "yellow, clay-like earth"... what?? We were a bit disappointed.
