Something old

This is the Mnajdra and Hagar Qim temple complex in Malta. It's where the Pyramids go on holiday when they want to see something old. (Apparently, these are the oldest freestanding structures in the world. In Malta.)

If I remember right, this was a breakfast counter.

An apse in the Northern Temple.

A doorway. Yes, they had those, even back then.

And outside, someone left an homage to Pi. Nice.

I'm going to assume Malta's oversight was failing to put treasure and curses inside their free-standing structures. And that's how the pyramids won. Am I close?

That's right! Treasure protected by curse is the key to any structure's worldwide acclaim, isn't it? Makes me think (when the time comes) I should seal up all my worldly possessions (in my studio apartment) and engrave a hefty protective curse on the front door. Immortality, here I come (I think).
