Continuing on with the t-shirt theme (see previous post for continuance), I want to show you what is perhaps one of the best photos of modern times. I mean this should be published in National Geopgraphic or something. This was taken on the island of Cres in Croatia, and there is some controversy as to where the kudos lies. I get some kudos because I ran 50 metres to find Shelley with the camera to come and take a picture. But the lions-share of the kudos goes to Shelley, who stood covertly lining up the shot for about two minutes; that took some nerve.
I still like to look at this photo, much to the annoyance of Shelley, who thinks I'm a little obsessed. But can you blame me? Can you?
As a postscript, Shelley has a bit of a track-record when it comes to taking pictures of unsuspecting characters. Here's one of a lady in Florence. Shelley still doesn't see the ethical implications of her work.

Nice work Shell! ;-)
We have a neighbour who's a lady called Florence.....
this comment was posted approximately 20 seconds after your email was sent Jules, so I'm counting that as a PB!
Shelley, how could you be upset with Jules's repeated appreciation of the photo??? Unless that is he's just looking at the L and the A.
www.azzadazza.blogspot.com.au for all your bloggy needs. AOK!
PS. BIG kudos on the photo if I did not say so before. And on finding a John Ke'dy look alike... or is it just me??
Got the address wrong...

Shelley! I didn't know she had this streak, but I have to say I'm deeply impressed.
having enlarged the photo, I have to apologise to Dan. Dan, I'm sorry.
It does look a bit like our dear cous' now you mention it.
And Hel, I have a couple more (not quite as entertaining) that might yet see the light of day.
hi julian! hi shelley! that photo is beautiful shelley - although i do detect a certain hiding in bushes element which is slightly disturbing. That woman is either extremely comfortable or is in the early stages of labour...... a vision in watermelon!
by the way azzadazza, i tried to comment on your blog and your people rudely informed me 'This blog does not allow anonymous comments'. I'd like to fill in a customer feedback card please.
Yes Az, hate to help the competition, but that's a sure-fire way to scare off the customers.

Zoe I promise you, that's not what the early stages of labour look like.
Although I spent mine wandering round Home Depot carrying paint cans and whingeing that my stomach hurt, so what would I know...
